Vivo has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Vivo Y32 in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 1,399 Yuan (US$219).
The Vivo Y32 features a 6.51” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 tall aspect ratio, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.
On the imaging front, the phone has a square-shaped camera island which is home to a dual-camera setup comprising of a 12 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y32 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset alongside 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Other than that, it also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and is shipped with OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.
