Vivo has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone in the Chinese market known as the Vivo Y33e which carries an affordable launch price of just 1,299 Yuan (US$194).
Right off the bat, the new Vivo Y33s features a 6.51” IPS LCD display which offers a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone adopts a waterdrop-notch to accommodate an 8 megapixels front-facing camera.
At the back, the phone sports a rectangular-shaped camera module which houses a pair of cameras comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portraits. Cameras aside, there’s also a LED flash to assist with low-light photography.
The Vivo Y33e is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone will be backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
