Vivo will be launching a new Y-series smartphone known as the Vivo Y53s NFC in the Indonesian market on July 22nd. This device is likely to share the same specs as the Vivo Y53s smartphone that was launched earlier this month, except for it’s additional support for NFC connectivity.
As a quick recap, the Vivo Y53s NFC features a 6.58” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution alongside a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. The phone also comes with a dewdrop-notch upfront to accommodate it’s 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
On the rear side of the phone, it sports a rectangular camera island which is home to a triple-camera system that comprises of a 64 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth unit.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y53s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s light on, the phone is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast-charging. Other than that, the Vivo Y53s also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is shipped with FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11.
