Vivo Y54s is an entry-level 5G device with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset

Vivo has silently announced a new entry-level 5G model in it’s domestic market known as the Vivo Y54s 5G. This device carries a rather affordable launch price of just 1,699 Yuan (US$266) and is available in two different colorways namely Titanium Gray and Lake Blue.

The Vivo Y54s 5G builds around a 6.51” IPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, as well as an 8 megapixels selfie camera that’s housed within a waterdrop-notch.

Around the back of the phone, it has a square-shaped camera bump which houses a dual-cam setup lead by a 13 megapixels main camera alongside a 2 megapixels depth sensor. On top of that, there’s also a LED flash to help with low-light photography as well.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y54s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be supplemented by 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. As usual, it’ll be shipped with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
