The Vivo Y5s is the latest Y-series phone to go official in China. In the Chinese market, it is positioned lower than the Helio P65 powered Vivo Y7s that is now selling in with a price tag of 1,798 Yuan ($256). Priced at 1,498 Yuan ($213), the Vivo Y5s features a tall aspect ratio, Helio P65 and a huge battery.
Vivo Y5s Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y5s measures 162.15 x 76.47 x 8.89mm and it weighs 193 grams. The handset features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. It supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Helio P65 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The SoC is assisted by 6 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone has an internal storage of 128 GB. A microSD card slot is available on the device for additional storage.
The Vivo Y5s is running on Android 9 Pie OS that is customized with FunTouch OS 9.2 OS. It has a front camera of 16-megapixel. The back panel of the phone has a 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W dual-engine fast charging through microUSB is available on the Vivo Y5s. A fingerprint scanner is also seen on the rear shell of the device.
The pricing of the phone is known, but its availability in China is yet to be revealed. It will be available in Black, Blue and Green color variants.
