Vivo Y70s Debuting Soon with Exynos 880; Key Specs Officially Revealed

On June 1, Vivo will be launching the Vivo X50 series that is likely to include the Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro smartphones. The Chinese firm is also gearing up to launch another phone called Vivo Y70s. The two official posters released by the company showcases the design of the smartphone along with its key specifications.

The official posters show that the Vivo Y70s has a display positioned at the top-right corner. The handset is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which suggests that it could be sporting an LCD panel. The poster reveals that the smartphone will be available in pink and blue gradient colors. Also, it will be a 5G-ready device and it has a triple camera setup on its back.

The Vivo Y70s is powered by the Exynos 880 chipset. The unannounced processor is believed to be an underclocked edition of the Exynos 980 SoC by Samsung. The smartphone has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. There is a possibility that the phone could be available in low RAM and storage versions.

The 8 GB RAM variant of the Vivo Y70s was recently spotted on Geekbench 5. It revealed that the model number of the device is V2002A. The smartphone was found running on Android 10 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 5, the Exynos 880 powered device scored 641 and 1814 points, respectively.

The poster also reveals that the triple camera system of the Vivo Y70s is led by a 48-megapixel lens. The device houses a 4,500mAh battery. Lastly, the Vivo V2002A’s 3C listing had revealed that it could be shipping with an 18W fast charger. The launch date of the Vivo Y70s is yet to be confirmed.
