Today seems to be an auspicious day for Chinese smartphone maker to announce their latest smartphone. After the launch of Redmi K30i and Realme X50 Pro Player Edition, the Vivo Y70s had also been quietly announced in the Chinese market.
As we already know, the Vivo Y70s is one of the first smartphone to be driven by the new Exynos 880 SoC. It is a 5G-ready SoC which will allow the device to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
The Vivo Y70s feature a 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD display which boast an overall 90.72% screen-to-body ratio. The device employs a hole-punch design to house it’s 16 megapixels selfie camera on the top-left corner.
Over on the flip-side, there will be a rectangular camera module hosted on the upper left corner. It houses a total of 3 cameras which include a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be assisted by a LED flash which sits below the triple-cameras array.
At the helm, the Vivo Y70s is fueled by a massive 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. As usual, the device will boot on the latest FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10 OS.
Coming to its pricing, the Vivo Y70s will be reasonably priced at 1,998 Yuan (US$280) and 2,198 Yuan (US$308) respectively for it’s 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models. For those who’re interested, the device is available in 3 different colorways including Fog Illusion, Starlight Blue, as well as Black.
