Even though most eyes are now on the upcoming Vivo X50 series which will debut on June 1st, but the Chinese smartphone maker is also prepping another 5G mid-ranger smartphone known as the Vivo Y70s which will soon be announced in the Chinese market.
Today, an alleged promo poster of the device had appeared on Chinese Weibo which suggests that the Vivo Y70s will be priced at 2,198 Yuan (US$308) in the Chinese market. Coincidentally, the newly announced OPPO A92s also carries the same price tag.
Based on what we’d learned so far, the Vivo Y70s will be driven by the latest Exynos 880 SoC. It will be a 5G-ready smartphone capable of supporting both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
At the front, the display will be utilizing a hole-punch design to accommodate its selfie camera. Over on the flip-side, the Vivo Y70s will feature a vertical camera module which houses a triple-camera setup. These cameras will include a 48 megapixels main camera, as well as an ultra-wide lens and macro/ depth sensor.
To keep its lights on, there will be a 4,500mAh battery at the helm which is capable of supporting up to 18W fast-charging.
