Vivo has unwrapped a new smartphone known as the Vivo Y70t in the Chinese market. This will be the third model from the Y70 family which also includes the vanilla Vivo Y70 and Y70s.
For starter, the Vivo Y70t features a 6.53” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution topped with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90.72%. The front display dons a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner which houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera. It doesn’t have an in-display fingerprint scanner, but gets a side-mounted one instead.
Around the back of the phone, the Vivo Y70t boasts a rectangular camera island which is home to a triple-camera system comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels portrait lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro unit.
Interestingly, the Vivo Y70t is powered by an octa-core Exynos 880 chipset which is only found in a small handful of smartphones like the Vivo Y51s and Vivo Y70s. This will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
The phone draws power from a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. Other than that, it also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and is shipped with FuntouchOS 10.5 based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Vivo Y70t is priced at 1,499 Yuan (US$234), 1,699 Yuan (US$266) and 1,999 Yuan (US$312) respectively for it’s 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
