Recently, Vivo has already announced a number of mid-ranger smartphones including the Vivo Y52 5G and Vivo Y72 5G. However, that doesn’t stop the company from launching even more mid-range devices in the coming months.
Now, according to reputable tipster @stufflistings, Vivo is currently prepping another smartphone known as the Vivo Y73 which will allegedly debut in India by the end of next week.
Based on the render published by him, the upcoming Vivo Y73 seems to share a similar design language as the Vivo V21e which was launched in Malaysia back in April this year. Specs-wise however, there will be some notable differences between the two.
For starter, the Vivo Y73 is expected to feature a 6.44” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution which carries support for HDR10 playback as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, the phone gets a triple-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels bokeh camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro unit. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y73 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, it draws power from a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it’s shipped with FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
