Vivo has officially confirmed that the company’s latest mid-range offering, Vivo Y73, will be announced in the Indian market on June 10th later this week.
Prior to it’s launch, the company had already unveiled the Vivo Y73’s official design in a series of teasers which show off a seemingly similar design as the Vivo V21e which was launched in the Malaysian market earlier this year.
Similarly, most of the recent leaks had also revealed pretty much everything we need to know about the Vivo Y73’s specs. Starting with the front, the Vivo Y73 is expected to feature a 6.44” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, and carries support for HDR10 playback as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
For photography, you get a triple-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels bokeh camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro unit. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y73 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The device draws power from a 4,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it’s shipped with FuntouchOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
