After launching the Vivo Y15s and V23e smartphones in the global market, Vivo has also announced another mid-ranger model known as the Vivo Y76s in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 1,799 Yuan (US$282).
The Vivo Y76s features a 6.58” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calls.
On the rear side, it has a rectangular camera island which is home to a dual-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera alongside a 2 megapixels macro camera to help with close-up photography.
Just like the recently announced POCO M4 Pro 5G, the Vivo Y76s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage that can be further expandable via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a modest 4,100mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. Aside from that, you also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as Origin OS based on Android 11.
For those who’re interested, the Vivo Y76s 5G is available in three different colorways including Blue, White and Black. It will be priced at 1,799 Yuan (US$282) and 1,999 Yuan (US$313) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
