Vivo Y93s (V1818CA/V1818CT model number) is the latest budget-friendly smartphone from Vivo. The handset has arrived as an updated version of the Vivo Y93 smartphone that was announced in November.
The Vivo Y93s measures 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and it weighs 163.5 grams. It houses a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch. It supports 19:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution. Instead of the Snapdragon 439 chipset available on the Vivo Y93, the Y93s comes with MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 chipset. The SoC is supported by 4 GB of RAM. It includes a massive internal storage of 128 GB. It also features a microSD card slot for more storage.
The Vivo Y93s is packed with a massive battery of 4,030mAh battery. For photography, it features a selfie camera of 8-megapixel and 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear. The handset lacks a fingerprint scanner. For security, it only feature facial recognition feature. The FunTouch OS 4.5 UI based Android 8.1 Oreo OS available on the device.
The Vivo Y93s can be bought in four gradient color choices such as Aurora Red, Aurora Blue, Zixia Red and Starry Night Black. The handset carries a price tag of 1,698 Yuan ($245). At present only the Zixia Red and Aurora Red editions are available for purchase.
