Through its official flagship store Weibo account, Vivo has confirmed that it will be introducing its new Z series of smartphones by launching the Z1 smartphone soon. It is expected to be priced under 999 Yuan (~$156) which indicates it will be mid-range smartphone.
The belowposter that has been released on Weibo by Vivo shows that the upcoming Vivo Z1 budget phone will be sporting a notched display design like its recent phones like Vivo X21 and Vivo V9. This indicates that the screen of the Vivo Z1 will offer an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Through Weibo, the company has already confirmed the existence of Vivo Z1. However, nothing else is known on the specifications of the smartphone. As of this writing, it is only known that the Vivo Z1 will be available through Jingdong, Tmall, Suning and Vipshop on in China starting from May 25.
Even though the Vivo Z1 is expected to arrive with a budget pricing, the Weibo post that reveals its existence states that its configuration is beyond. What could it mean? It seems that it will be fueled by a better performing processor.
