Vivo has confirmed that the company will announced the next generation’s Z-series smartphone known as Vivo Z6 on February 29th.
The Vivo Z6 will be the first 5G device in Vivo’s Z-series lineup and is able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. It is also the first Vivo smartphone to be driven by the Snapdragon 765G SoC.
Under the hood, the Vivo Z6 is fueled by a hefty 5,000mAh battery which will be able to support up to 44W fast-charging that can bring the device from 0 to 100% in around an hour.
Design-wise, the Vivo Z6 will feature a hole-punched display with minimal bezels along it’s sides. On the rear, it will tout a rectangular-camera module which houses a total of 3 camera sensors along with a LED flash. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is also present on the device as well.
The Vivo Z6 has also geared up to be an affordable gaming-centric smartphone that will feature a dedicated liquid cooling system.
From what we’d learned so far, reservations for the device could go live as early as February 22nd this week.
