With barely two days away from Xiaomi’s final launch event of the year, we’re now beginning to see more leaks and rumors pertaining to it’s highly anticipated Xiaomi 12 series smartphones.
According to a latest leak from Weibo, it appears that the vanilla Xiaomi 12 could be coming with a vegan leather edition that dons in a Green-colored paintjob. Of course, there’s also the regular models in Blue and Pink paintjobs which seem to be equipped with a glass back.
Most importantly, leak also corroborates earlier renderings of the phone published by reputable leaker @onleaks. Although it might not be obvious from the photos, but the upcoming Xiaomi 12 had already been confirmed to feature a more compact form factor with a petite 6.28” display. That’s notably smaller than the 6.81” display on the current the Xiaomi 11 (Review).
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 is expected to be powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset along with an upgraded triple-camera system for professional photography. Apart from the Xiaomi 12, the company is also reportedly launching the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X.
