Several reports have claimed that Redmi will launch the next K-series of smartphones called the Redmi K50s and the Redmi K50s Pro later this month in China. It is speculated that these devices will be rebadged as the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro in the global market. Today, tipster Yogesh Brar released a tweet to leak the full specifications of the Xiaomi 12T.
Xiaomi 12T Specifications (Rumored)
The Xiaomi 12T will arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. The device is likely to sport a punch-hole design like its predecessor, the Xiaomi 11T. The leak claims that the 12T’s screen will support 1220 x 2172 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. The 11T featured a side-facing fingerprint scanner, but its successor will flaunt an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Dimensity 8100 Ultra, which is a customized version of the Dimensity 8100 for Xiaomi, will power the Xiaomi 12T. The smartphone will arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of native storage. The smartphone will come preloaded with the Android 12 OS and MIUI 13.
The 12T will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, which will carry support for 67W fast charging. The front of the device will have a 20-megapixel camera. Its rear-mounted camera module will comprise a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 12T series will debut in September or October in the global market. The 12T Pro will rival the likes of the iQOO 9T 5G and the OnePlus 10T 5G.
