Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro Official Images Rolled Out

On Dec. 11, Xiaomi will announce the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in China. To those who are unaware, the Xiaomi 13 series was originally scheduled to launch on Dec. 1 in the home market, but the event was cancelled at the last minute. The event has now been rescheduled to take place at 7 pm on the coming Sunday. In addition, the company has released some images to reveal the design of the Xiaomi 13 duo.

The official images of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro show that these two phones have identical designs. Like its predecessor, the Xiaomi 12, the Xiaomi 13 will be a compact-sized flagship phone. The 13 Pro will debut as its larger version.

On the front, the vanilla model has a flat display, whereas the Pro model is equipped with a curved-edge display. The former is expected to house a 6.36-inch FHD+ screen, while the latter will have a 6.73-inch Quad HD+ display. Both are expected to feature an E6 AMOLED display with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

The rest of the design of both phones is almost identical. The volume rocker and power key can be found on the right, while the left side is barren. The bottom edge has a speaker grille, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a SIM slot.

Xiaomi is yet to share detailed information about the cameras of the Xiaomi 13 series. However, the Pro model is expected to feature the 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary camera, which was first seen on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to arrive with other features like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and up to a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
