Xiaomi’s next major launch event will be held on Dec. 1 in China. The company will announce multiple products, such as the Xiaomi 13 series, Watch S2, Buds 4 TWS, and MIU 14. Xiaomi is yet to reveal the design of the Xiaomi 13 series. All that is known is that both phones will have a punch-hole display. The standard model is expected to feature a flat screen, while the display of the Pro variant will have curved edges. It is speculated that both phones will have an identical rear design. A leaked render of the Xiaomi 13 Pro has appeared today to give a look at its design. Before reading ahead, readers are advised to take the leak with a grain of salt, as the authenticity of the image could not be confirmed.
The leaked render of the Xiaomi 13 Pro reveals that its green rear shell will be fitted with a black camera module. As can be seen, the device has a triple camera unit, an LED flash, and Leica branding. According to rumors, the device will have three 50-megapixel cameras. It is speculated to feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera with OIS support.
On the front, it will have a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform.
The SoC will be coupled with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It’s still not clear if the MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS will already be on the device.
The device will pack a 4,600mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Lastly, it will offer IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
