In October, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro flagship phones in the Chinese market. Both devices are expected to launch in the global market by the first half of 2024. While it has been not many days since the launch of the Xiaomi 14 lineup, a new leak has already first information about the Xiaomi 15 series.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 15 will have a 6.36-inch display, which means that it will retain the screen size of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 13. He added that the device will be equipped with a CSOT-supplied OLED panel with ultra-thin bezels on all four sides, a 1.5K resolution of 2760 x 1200 pixels, 1,400 nits of full-scren peak brightness, and a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. The screen can save on power consumption by 15 to 20 percent, claims the leaker.
Xiaomi has been using CSOT OLED panels on many of its flagship phones, such as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Redmi K60 Ultra (Extreme Edition), and Redmi K70 series. It appears that the Xiaomi 15 series will continue the partnership between the two brands.
The tipster did not share any other information about the Xiaomi 15 series. It is likely that the lineup will have three models, such as the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra. It is likely that the Xiaomi 15 series may debut in Q4 2024 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip onboard.
At present, it is too early to speculate on the other specs of the Xiaomi 15. Hopefully, the rumor mill will shed more details about the 15 series in the coming months.
