There are rumors that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will power the Xiaomi 15. DCS disclosed that the device will feature a flat and compact OLED LTPO panel with a resolution of 1.5K.
The rear camera setup of the Xiaomi 15 will include a 50-megapixel main camera with a large 1/1.3″ sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto macro lens with 3x optical zoom, all featuring a full-range large aperture.
The Xiaomi 15 is anticipated to come with a memory configuration of up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. DCS claimed that the Xiaomi 15 will arrive with other features, such as a single-point ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint sensor, stereo earpiece dual speakers, and a responsive motor, ensuring a premium user experience.
Unfortunately, the leaker did not say anything about the battery size or charging capabilities of the device. However, he added that this generation’s battery material has undergone an upgrade compared to the Xiaomi 14 from last year. Hence, despite housing a larger battery, it will be a thin and lightweight device. Design-wise, the Xiaomi 15 will have a sleek appeal and will be offered in color variants, such as black and white. It will be available in glass, vegan leather, and vegan leather splicing options.
