Xiaomi rerportedly working on the Xiaomi 15 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. As per reports, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are scheduled to launch in October of this year. While the standard model will continue to remain a compact flagship phone, the Pro variant will be a larger device. Both devices are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, respectively. The recent trend in the smartphone industry is to offer flagship phones with high-density batteries. A new leak, courtesy of reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, reveals that the 15 Pro may pack a huge battery.
Xiaomi 15 Pro battery leak (rumored)
Tipster Digital Chat Station claimed in a previous leak that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 5,400mAh battery with 120W fast charging and wireless charging. However, the new leak by the same tipster suggests that the company could be testing the 15 Pro with a larger battery.
Therefore, it appears that the 15 Pro may pack a 6,000mAh battery with 90W rapid charging. In today’s leak, the leaker did not share anything else about the device.
According to other reports, the Xiaomi 15 Pro may arrive with a 6.73-inch OLED display with micro curvature on all four sides. The screen may support a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and for security, it may feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the back, the 15 Pro may feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50K main camera. A 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom are likely to accompany it. The device may come with a HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15.
