In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly leaked details about the Xiaomi 15 series. The leaker has not explicitly mentioned the name(s) of the phone(s), but the contents of the Weibo post suggest that he could be talking about the Xiaomi 15 series.
The leak suggests that the Xiaomi 15 series’ internal testing phase will start in April in China. He said what deserves attention is that the series will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a new periscope telephoto camera.
The Xiaomi 15 lineup will maintain the dual-size strategy, as seen on the Xiaomi 13 and 14 series. The Xiaomi 15 could be a smaller device, with its screen supporting a 1.5K resolution. On the other hand, the 15 Pro will be a bigger display phone, offering a 2K resolution.
Both phones will have the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset onboard. In addition, the two phones are said to feature a new generation of high-density silicon-material batteries. Lastly, the leak suggests that both phones will have a 50-megapixel OmniVision primary camera.
