There has been some chatter about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s launch date. Some leaks have claimed that it will debut in January 2025 in China. However, recent Weibo posts from a Xiaomi executive suggest that the 15 Ultra will be announced in February 2025, just as the 14 Ultra was unveiled in February of this year.

Wang Hua, the General Manager of Xiaomi’s PR department, recently announced that there won’t be any significant launch events in China this month and advised against using last year’s schedule as a guide. In response to a comment asking if the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s release had been delayed, she confirmed that it hasn’t been delayed, and the company is proceeding according to the planned timeline. She clarified that the company never planned to launch the 15 Ultra in January.”
Wei Siqi, General Manager of Xiaomi’s Mobile Division, recently posted a video discussing how Xiaomi phones integrate with the Apple ecosystem. In the comments, a user mentioned rumors of a delay for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Wei responded, clarifying that there has been no delay, and the launch remains set for February.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which bears the 25010PN30C and 25019PN30C model numbers, has been certified by China’s 3C certification platform. The certification revealed that the device may arrive with support for 90W fast charging. Additionally, the phone is expected to support 50W wireless charging.
Like the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, the Ultra edition is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX858 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto snapper. For selfies, it may feature a 32-megapixel OV32B OmniVision front-facing camera.
