Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 16 series by the end of this month in China. The rumor mill has been revealing the key specs of the 16 lineup in bits and pieces. However, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar, has revealed almost everything about the standard Xiaomi 16.
Xiaomi 16 specifications (rumored)

As per the leak, the Xiaomi 16 will be a compact offering equipped with a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel supporting a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (aka 8 Elite 2) chipset. The same chip is also expected to power the Xiaomi 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max / Mini.
The device will come preloaded with HyperOS 3-based Android 16. It will pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
For selfies, the Xiaomi 16 will feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. However, contradictory reports claim that the device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel will house a 50-megapixel OmniVision primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera.
For security, the Xiaomi 16 will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will come with an IP68/69-rated dust and water-resistant body.
The Xiaomi 16 is expected to face competition from the Vivo X300, which is officially confirmed to feature a 6.31-inch screen. However, instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the X300 will have the Dimensity 9500 SoC onboard.
