Xiaomi 16 lineup; 50MP front camera upgrade tipped

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 16 series will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. It is unclear whether all three phones will feature the upgraded 50-megapixel front camera.
He also mentioned that the Xiaomi 16 will be a more compelling option than the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini, which will be a compact flagship phone. While the Pro Mini is expected to feature a 6.3-inch screen, the standard model may arrive with a slightly bigger 6.5-inch display. Nevertheless, the Pro Mini model is said to come with exciting features such as a primary camera backed by a large sensor, a periscope telephoto lens and wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 16 Pro, on the other hand, will be a larger model equipped with a massive 6.8-inch display. All three smartphones are expected to debut as the world’s first phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.
The brand is expected to expand the Xiaomi 16 series next year by introducing two more models, such as the Xiaomi 16 Ultra and 16S Pro. The Ultra model is said to bring back the secondary rear screen that was seen on the older Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The Xiaomi 16S Pro, which is expected to include Xiaomi’s next-generation Xring O2 chip, is likely to be an incremental upgrade over the 16 Pro. At present, there is no clarity on whether Xiaomi will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or Xring O2 to power the Ultra model.
