Previous reports have suggested that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will include two 200-megapixel cameras along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The above Weibo post by DCS suggests that the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max could bring major upgrades in camera hardware. According to the leak, its engineering prototype is said to feature a new 200-megapixel primary camera based on a 22nm sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch size.
The tipster adds that the sensor may support a new generation LOFIC HDR 3.0 technology, along with high frame gain for improved dynamic range in complex lighting conditions. The setup is also expected to include a glass-plastic hybrid lens with optical coating, aimed at enhancing light transmission and image clarity.
Additionally, the telephoto camera is tipped to support high-quality macro photography, with a large aperture for better detail and low-light performance. e. Overall, the device is said to offer a flagship-grade dual 200-megapixel imaging system.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is expected to be a larger version of the Xiaomi 18 Pro, which will have a 6.3-inch or 6.4-inch display and a battery of around 7,000mAh battery.
