Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new selfie-focused smartphone. Today, the tipster Digital Chat Station shared key specifications of the alleged device. It appears that he could be talking about the Xiaomi CIVI 2 handset.
According to the Chinese tipster, the mysterious Xiaomi phone will come equipped with a slim and lightweight body. It will be featuring an OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come preinstalled with MIUI 13.
The Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset is expected to power the alleged Xiaomi CIVI 2. The selfie-centric phone will feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and its back panel will feature a 64-megapixel primary camera. There is no word on the battery capacity of the smartphone. However, the leak claims that it will carry support for 55W fast charging.
Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi CIVI in September 2021. It is likely that the company is planning to introduce a new CIVI model six months after the launch of the original model.

The Xiaomi CIVI has a 6.55-inch OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset will be present under the hood of the Xiaomi CIVI. The device offers up to 12 GB of LPDD4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. For security, it is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
