On Sept. 27, Xiaomi will be announcing the female-focused Xiaomi CIVI 2. Ahead of the launch, the company is busy teasing the design and key features of the smartphone. Today, it rolled out a poster to give a first look at the design of its display.
As can be seen in the new poster, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 has a curved edge display with a pill-shaped cutout. It seems to house a dual-selfie camera setup. The top bezel of the phone has a pair of LED flash units to capture brighter selfie shots in low light conditions. The screen seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
The other images of the phone released by the brand show that the device has a 50-megapixel triple camera unit on the back. A microphone, an IR blaster, and the Dolby Atmos branding can be seen on the top edge of the smartphone.
The CIVI 2’s bottom edge has a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The left side of the phone appears to be barren, while its opposite edge has a volume rocker and a power button.
According to Xiaomi, the device measures 7.23mm in thickness and weighs around 171.8 grams. While the company has revealed only the white variant of the device, it is likely that it could be made available in multiple colors.
Reports have claimed that the CIVI 2 has a 6.56-inch OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a dual 32-megapixel front camera setup and an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera on the back. The latter is said to be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip is said to be present under the hood of the CIVI 2. It is likely to come with up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
