The Xiaomi Civi 3 is scheduled to debut on Thursday (May 25) in China. Yesterday, the brand released a couple of teasers to showcase its rear design. The images revealed that the device will sport a new dual-tone design and a circular camera module. Today, the brand released the following poster to confirm the front design of the Civi 3.
Since the first-generation Xiaomi Civi phone, the company has been offering a curved-edge display. The Civi 2, which debuted last year, featured a pill-shaped cutout on the screen for the dual front-facing cameras. It appears that the Civi 3 could be equipped with the same screen that was made available on the Civi 2.
Hence, it is likely that the Xiaomi Civi 3 will arrive with a 6.55-inch OLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is speculated that the device is equipped with a 32-megapixel primary selfie camera and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the front.
The exact configuration of the Civi 3’s rear camera setup is not known yet. However, what’s known is that it is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. Reports have claimed that the device has a Sony IMX800 lens as the primary snapper.
The Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip will power the Xiaomi Civi 3. Its topmost variant will come with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13.
