Earlier this week, Xiaomi announced the much anticipated Xiaomi Civi smartphone in it’s home market where the phone had received tons of positive feedbacks with regard to it’s super sleek design.
Sad to say, the company has been quick to confirm that this handset will be exclusive only to the Chinese market, which means it’ll not be making it’s way to the global markets.
While this is certainly a bad news for Xiaomi fans in the global market, the move does make sense considering that the company has recently announced the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE in the global market which shares largely the same specs as the former except for some minor differences.
As a quick recap, the Xiaomi Civi sports a 6.55” FHD+ OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 778G chipset, 64MP triple-camera setup, 32MP front-facing camera, 4,500mAh battery, as well as 55W fast-charging support.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Civi is priced at 2,799 Yuan (US$433), 3,099 Yuan (US$480) and 3,399 Yuan (US$526) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB models.
