During the past few months, we’d seen numerous leaks and rumors about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus which was touted to be phablet version of the current Mi 6 flagship. Likewise, we’d also heard that the highly anticipated Mi Mix 2 is also in the pipeline and is expected to make its debut somewhere during October or November this year.
Right now, Xiaomi also jumps into the scene by revealing that the company is indeed prepping a couple of high-end yet cost-effective smartphones for the second half of the year. This came directly from the company’s Weibo blog earlier today.
Needless to say, the company is probably pointing to some of the long rumored aforementioned handsets and perhaps even the Mi 6S which have been absence from the rumor mills for quite some time. Other than these big name devices, we’re also hearing quite a lot recently about the Redmi Pro 2 as well as the Redmi Note 5. Both of which will be cut-price mid-rangers that comes with decent specs sheet and features.
Surely, the second-halve of the year will be even busier for the Chinese manufacturer.
