A mysterious Xiaomi phone with M2007J22C has received approval from the State Radio Regulation of China (SRRC). The Chinese tipster who shared the screenshot of the certification claimed that the M2007J22C could be the Redmi Note 10 series.
There is no new information available on the specifications of the Redmi Note 10. In July, the Redmi Note 10 moniker had popped up in AI Benchmarks. It revealed that the device is powered by Dimensity 820 5G chipset and 8 GB of RAM. The other specs of the device are under wraps.
Last year, the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones were announced in China. Earlier this year, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 9 series in India. The lineup includes three devices such as Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
None of the Redmi Note 9 series phones made its way to China since they did not carry support for 5G connectivity. The upcoming Redmi Note 10 series phones will be the first Note branded devices from the brand to support 5G connectivity.
Now that the alleged Redmi Note 10 has appeared at SRRC, it may soon receive certification from other Chinese authorities like 3C and TENAA. Probably, the Redmi Note 10 series may go official by the end of this month or in October.
