Xiaomi is seemingly gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro in global markets. Rumors surrounding these phones have revealed that they are codenamed as Apollo and Apollo Pro. Some reports have claimed that these phones will be equipped with OLED panel. However, a Chinese tipster has claimed that they are equipped with LCD panels. He has also shared information on the screens of the Mi 10T series.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi Apollo phone i.e. the Mi 10T has an LCD screen that supports 144Hz refresh rate. He also added that the screen supports MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology that can add higher frame rate to content with low frame rates. Also, the screen will have a very small a punch-hole cutout with a diameter of around 3.8mm.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro are expected to arrive with similar specs. The Mi 10T Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, whereas the Mi 10T could be equipped with a new Snapdragon 7-series chipset. Both phones will support 5G connectivity.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro had recently appeared on Amazon Spain with renders and specs. It revealed that the phone has 8 GB of RAM and it may come in 128 GB / 256 GB storage choices. It has a front camera of 20-megapixel and its rear features a 108-megapixel + 20-megapixel (ultrawide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera system.
The Mi 10T could be coming with a 64-megapixel triple camera system. Both phones have side-facing fingerprint sensors and they are loaded with MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS. The Mi 10T Pro has a fast charging technology equipped battery of 5,000mAh capacity. The Mi 10T Pro could be priced around Rs 35,000 in India.
