Xiaomi Mi 11 Crosses 350,000 Sales Mark Within 5 Minutes

Earlier this week, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Mi 11 flagship phone in China. As scheduled, its first sale was carried out through multiple online retailer platforms of China at 12 AM today in the home market. Xiaomi has released an official confirmed that it achieved more than 1.5 billion Yuan sales in 5 minutes of making the Mi 11 available for purchase.

When Xiaomi had made the Xiaomi Mi 10 available for buying for the first time in China last year, its sales exceeded 200 million Yuan in just a minute. The Xiaomi Mi 11 has received even better response as its sales exceed 1.5 billion in 5 minutes. One of the reasons behind such a good response for the Mi 11 is that the company has already stocked enough units of the handset.

Xiaomi Mi 11 first sale

The Xiaomi Mi 11 arrived in three options such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 3,999 Yuan ($612), 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 4,299 Yuan ($658), and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 4,699 Yuan ($719) in China. The pricing suggests that company may have sold 350,000 to 375,000 units of the Xiaomi Mi 11. Chinese publications have reported that despite have enough stock, the Mi 11 was sold out on Xiaomi China’s official online store.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a quad HD+ resolution. The punch-hole screen houses a 20-megapixel front camera. Its rear has a triple camera system that includes a 108-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC and LPPDR5 RAM powers the device. It comes with UFS 3.1 storage and MUI 12 based Android 11 OS. Its 4,600mAh battery supports 55W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
