Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite Live Images Leaked, May Launch as First Snapdragon 775G Powered Phone

Xiaomi is reportedly working on an upper mid-range phone named Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. Reports have revealed that its 4G variant has an M2102K9AG model number, whereas the model number of its 5G version is M2101K9G. Fresh information shared by a Chinese tipster reveals that its Chinese edition with M2101K9C has passed MIIT certification. The listing only revealed that it is a 5G-capable device.  He claimed that the device will be launching as the Xiaomi Mi C11 phone in the home market.

The live shots belong to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G as the M2101K9AG model number can be seen in the first image. The handset has a punch-hole display, and its back panel is fitted with a square-shaped camera housing. The handset appears like a watered-down version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 5G flagship phone that debuted in China in December.

The first image shows that the phone is equipped with an unspecified octa-core processor that clocks at 2.3GHz. The SoC is coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The phone is running on Android 11 OS and MIUI 12 Global custom skin.

According to the tipster, the device will be arriving in the Chinese market as a CC-series phone. It could be called Xiaomi Mi C11. He claimed that it could be the world’s first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 775G chipset.

He added that the device has 6 GB of RAM, 4,150mAh battery, a 64-megapixel primary main camera, and 5x optical zoom. Xiaomi is yet to confirm the existence of the Mi 11 Lite / MI C11. Since the 4G edition of the device has bagged multiple certifications like FCC (US), BIS (India), IMDA (Singapore), NBTC (Thailand), SIRIM (Malaysia), and Bluetooth SIG, it appears that it may go official in the coming month. Its 5G edition has received IMDA approval apart from China’s MIIT certification.
