Xiaomi’s Mi series of flagship phones have received good reception in Chinese and global markets. The flagship smartphones released by the brand provide users with some topnotch features. However, display resolution is one aspect where it has been inferior to flagship phones from Samsung, Huawei, OPPO, and OnePlus that have been offering flagship phones with quad HD+ resolution support. There have been reports that Xiaomi will launch Mi phones with quad HD+ resolution support. A fresh leak reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro could be arriving with a display that carries support for quad HD+ resolution.
According to a tipster, the high version of Xiaomi’s next flagship phone which seem to be the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be equipped with a display that has a punch-hole positioned at the top-left corner. The screen will carry support for a quad HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It could be a curved screen, but it may not feature the extremely curved waterfall display. The increased resolution and refresh rate will be a good improvement since the predecessor Mi 10 Pro supported a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
It is speculated that the Xiaomi Mi 11 series could be arriving as China’s first phones powered by the Snapdragon 875 mobile platform. There are speculations that the Mi 11 may support 100W fast charging, whereas the Pro model could be equipped with 120W fast charging support.
Xiaomi is yet to release any official details about the arrival of the Mi 11 series. Since Samsung is heavily pegged to launch its Galaxy S21 series in January, Xiaomi too may announce its Mi 11 series in the same month.
