Xiaomi has recently announced the Xiaomi Mi 11 flagship in China. The company did not utter a word on the existence of the more advanced Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro handset. A new report by XDA Developers state that it has found some evidence that proves that the company is working on a Pro model.
According to the publication, its forum member kacskrz could find the “Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro” name in the source code of the latest version (v2.2.17.18) of the MIUI Gallery app that can be found on the Xiaomi devices in China. The tipster could also find an evidence that the Mi 11 Pro has a curved screen
Earlier reports have also revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is equipped with other features like MEMC, SDR-to-HDR mapping, and AI upscaling. These features seem to be reserved for the Pro model as they are not found on the regular Mi 11.
The vanilla Xiaomi Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch four-sided curved AMOLED display that offers a quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Probably, the Mi 11 Pro could be featuring the same display with additional features that are mentioned above.
The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform will be present under the hood of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. Probably, it could be arriving with better cameras and faster-charging capabilities. There is no word on the other specifications of the Mi 11 Pro. It remains to be seen whether it comes with features like a quad-camera setup and 100W / 120W fast charging support. As far as launch is concerned, it may break cover in February or March in the coming year.
