Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had said at the recently held World Internet Conference in China that the company will be focusing on releasing AI powered smartphones in 2018. Speculations have it that Xiaomi Mi 7 would be delivering amazing photography experience through AI powered dual rear cameras. Latest information that the Snapdragon 845 chipset that will be powering the Xiaomi Mi 7 will offer AI assisted photography experience.
Just like the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are able to deliver impressive photography experience even in low light conditions thanks to its AI enabled Kirin 970 chipset. It appears that the Mi 7 may be able to impress its users with low light photography. The Xiaomi Mi 7 is likely to feature monochrome + RGB dual camera system featuring 12-megapixel Sony IMX380 and 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor.
Previous rumors have revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 7 would be coming with an AMOLED screen of 6.01 inches by Samsung. It is rumored to deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are rumored to get unveiled as the first smartphones to be powered by Snapdragon 845. Rumors suggest that Xiaomi Mi 7 could be China’s first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 845 SoC. Earlier reports have revealed that the Mi 7 will feature 6 GB of RAM and it will be Xiaomi’s first phone to be enabled with wireless charging feature. It is rumored to arrive with a price tag of 2,699 Yuan (~$408).
