Xiaomi has already revealed that the Mi 8 Youth Edition will go official on Sept. 19. However, some reports have also claimed that it the Chinese manufacturer will be also unleashing Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition smartphone. Through a recent teaser, the company had also revealed that it will be launching Mi 8 series products through its Sep. 19 launch event which indicates multiple Mi 8 series phones will go official on Wednesday. Today, the company has some more teasers which hint that the Xiaomi Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition is indeed arriving alongside Mi 8 Youth Edition.
Leaked information that had surfaced earlier in this month had revealed that the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition will be coming in two models such as 128 GB storage + 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage + 6 GB RAM. The handset is expected to be available in Black and Gold color variants. The Gold variant was recently teased by the company.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition may carry the same specifications as the Mi 8 phone. The only major difference between them could be the inclusion of in-display fingerprint reader on the upcoming Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition smartphone. The handset may feature 6.26-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, Snapdragon 845 chipset, 24-megapixel front camera, dual 12-megapixel rear camera and 3,250mAh battery.
