Although Xiaomi has yet to officially announce their new Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite mid-ranger smartphone, but the device had apparently went on sale via Chinese online retailer AliExpress. According to the listing, the Mi A2 Lite comes with a price tag of US$189.99 for the 3GB+32GB variant, as well as $209.99 for the 4GB+64GB higher-end model.
Surely, the price here is significantly cheaper than what was purported earlier on which suggested the device to cost more than US$280. What’s so special about the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is that the device runs on the Android One OS that is based off the Android 8.1 Oreo, instead of the traditional MIUI which is commonly found among other Xiaomi smartphones.
For those who’re interested, the listing has confirmed that the Mi A2 Lite will be featuring a 5.84-inches “top-notched” display with 1,080 x 2,2280 pixels screen resolution. The device runs on the Snapdragon 625 SoC and comes equipped with a 12MP+5MP main snapper at the back. On the front, there is also a decent selfie-cam consisting of a 5 megapixels sensor embedded with Xiaomi’s own Smart Beauty add-on. To keep the device ticking, there is also a hefty 4,000mAh non-removable battery under the hood.
Before we missed out, the Mi A2 Lite will arrive in 3 different color options including Black, Blue and Gold.
