On July 24, Xiaomi will be holding a global launch event. Rumors are rife that the event will be used to announce the Mi A2 Android One phone. The handset has appeared with full specifications and pricing on an online retailer site from Poland. The website has also listed another Android One smartphone called Mi A2 Lite. The listing for the A2 Lite also includes full specs and pricing.
The specifications of the Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite reveal that they are rebranded versions of Mi 6X and Redmi 6 Pro phones that are exclusively available in China. The Android Oreo on Mi 6X and Redmi 6 Pro are customized with MIUI ROM. The Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite are global models that will not be featuring MIUI ROM. Hence, the Mi A2 and A2 Lite smartphones are expected to deliver stock Android experience.
The Mi A2 include 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 660, 3,010mAh battery, 20-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual camera, 20-megapixel selfie camera and Android 8.1 Oreo. The 32 GB + 4 GB, 64 GB+ 4 GB and 128 GB + 6 GB models are respectively priced at PLN 1,299 ($352), PLN 1,399 ($379) and PLN 1,599 ($433).
The Mi A2 Lite has a 5.84-inch notched screen with 19:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution, Snapdragon 625, 4,000mAh battery, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera, 5-megapixel, Android 8.1 Oreo, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It is priced PLN 1,049 ($284).
