Today, Xiaomi had heled a launch event in China to announce smart home products. The Chinese firm also took time to announce the Mi Band 4 fitness band to replace the Mi Band 3 from last year. The Mi Band 4 comes with a larger color display and couple of other improvements.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 comes with an AMOLED display that is 39 percent bigger than the predecessor model. There is a scratch-resistant 2.D curved glass to protect the display from damage. It comes in NFC enabled and non-NFC versions. The inclusion of NFC makes it possible to make AliPay and WeChat Pay payments through the Mi Band 4.
The Mi Band 4 offers 5ATM and it is designed to track different kinds of swimming exercises. Also, it is smart enough to track sports activities like running (indoors and outdoors), swimming, cycling, walking and more. The Xiao AI assistant is onboard for voice controlling the Mi Band 4.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 with NFC support is priced at 169 Yuan ($25). The NFC enabled variant carries a price tag of 229 ($33). There is a special edition of the fitness tracker called Avengers Limited Edition that is priced at 349 Yuan ($51). In China, it will be available for purchase from June 14.
