Recent reports have been hinting that the launch of the Mi Band 4 fitness tracker could be close at hand. Today, Xiaomi confirmed that it will be holding an unveil event in China on June 11 to announce the Mi Band 4. The successor of the Mi Band 4 promises longer battery life and aggressive price tag.
The predecessor Mi Band 3 models have featured monochrome displays. However, the Mi Band 4 will be the first fitness tracker from the company to arrive with a color display. The size of Mi Band 4’s display could be similar to Mi Band 3 that is equipped with a 0.78-inch display. Another important addition on the device is the support for XiaoAI smart voice assistant.
In order to produce better battery life despite featuring a color display, the Mi Band 4 is expected to arrive with a battery of 135mAh capacity. The predecessor model has 100mAh battery. Also, it will come equipped with Bluetooth 5.0. It is also expected to arrive with enhanced heart rate monitoring feature.
The Mi Band 4 could be available in NFC and non-NFC edition. The NFC model could be priced at 400 Yuan whereas the non-NFC variant could be costing between 200 and 300 Yuan.
