Xiaomi Mi CC9 is rumored to arrive as a new smartphone in China. It is speculated that a lighter version of the phone with Mi CC9e moniker may also debut alongside it. Rumors have it that the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will be selfie-centric smartphones developed by Xiaomi and its acquired firm called Meitu. The key details of both phones have appeared today to reveal their key specs and pricing.
According to the leaks surrounding the Xiaomi Mi CC9 series of phones, both will arrive with waterdrop-notch style displays. The Mi CC9 will have a fingerprint sensor embedded in its AMOLED display whereas the Mi CC9e will have an IPS LCD panel.
The Mi CC9 will be powered by Snapdragon 730 chipset and 4,000mAh battery with 27W fast charging. The Mi CC9e is expected to come with Snapdragon 712 chipset and 4,000mAh battery with 18W rapid charging. Both selfie centric phones will sport 32-megapixel front-facing cameras. Their rear shell will have a triple camera setup with 48-megapixel primary unit. These devices will also carry support for NFC connectivity.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9e with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage will be priced at 1,599 Yuan. The Mi CC9 variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage are rumored to be respectively priced at 2,499 Yuan, 2,799 Yuan and 3,099 Yuan.
