Xiaomi’s CC series product manager Lao Wei has shared an image of the white version of the forthcoming Mi CC9 smartphone. It gives the first look at the smartphone’s rear design.
The wonderful white colored Mi CC9 sports a glass rear that curves towards all the four edges. There is a 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge of the device and it houses a 48-megapixel triple camera unit at the upper-left corner.
A fingerprint scanner is absent from the rear shell of the device. Rumors have revealed that the smartphone will be arriving with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The volume rocker and a power button are placed on the right side of the Mi CC9. Although it is a white model, it showcases shades of colors like blue, purple and pink.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has shared another image (shown above) of the white variant of the Mi CC9. It confirms the presence a USB-C port and a pair of external speakers. Jun has unofficially called the white version as Romantic White. However, Lao Wei has asked fans to guess a good name for the model. She has provided options like Dream White, Dream White Mirror and White Lovers.
The Mi CC9 is expected to come with 6.2-inch AMOLED display with waterdrop notch, Snapdragon 730 chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage. It may feature a 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple rear cameras and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset may come packed with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 27W rapid charging.
