Before the launch of Xiaomi Mi 6, the Chinese company had released a mysterious message on its Weibo account. In the same way, the company has made a new post on Weibo. It only states “tomorrow morning, said a big deal!” (translated text). The text is quite confusing and does not give out any information. However, it seems that the cryptic message may be a hint that the company will be launching something soon. Recent rumors have revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slated for an official unveil on May 23.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is expected to house a 6.44-inch display like its predecessor model and it will carry support for full HD resolution. It is expected to launch in two variants. The Snapdragon 626 CPU model may feature 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage whereas the Snapdragon 660 CPU variant is expected to arrive with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
It is expected to feature 12-megapixel rear camera and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. The predecessor camera with 4,850 mAh battery. The successor is pegged to come with 5,000 mAh battery.
