Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had confirmed in May that the Mi Max 3 would be debuting in July. Yesterday, the Chinese manufacturer had released a teaser saying that it will be announcing something new today. Through a fresh Weibo post, the company has revealed that the launch date of Mi Max 3 is July 19.
According to Mi Max 3’s launch poster Weibo post, the handset will be arriving with a big screen and a large battery. Through the TENAA listing of the Mi Max 3, it has been revealed that it will be arriving with a big-sized display of 6.9 inches. The display will be supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The Snapdragon 636 SoC featuring an octa-core-processor that clocks at 1.8 GHz is rumored to be present under the hood of the Mi Max 3. However, there is a possibility that it could be fueled by Snapdragon 632 chipset.
The 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB RAM versions of the Mi Max 3 are rumored to be respectively packed with 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of storage. It will be featuring an external storage slot.
The 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup will be available on the Mi Max 3. For capturing selfies, it will be fitted with an 8-megapixel front camera. The handset will be packed with a 5,500mAh battery.
