Xiaomi is reportedly working on a successor phone for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 phablet. Speculations are rife that the Mi Max 3 will be arriving with a larger display than the Mi Max 2. Also, it is speculated that the display of Mi Max 3 will be supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9. A leakster from China has revealed a lot of information on the Mi Mix 3 along with its pricing.
The dimensions of the Mi Mix 3 are rumored to be same as Mi Max 2, but it will be housing a larger display in the same-sized body. It is speculated to come with 6.99-inch display that will deliver 18:9 aspect ratio.
The leakster claims that the smartphone would be driven by Snapdragon 635 which is said to be 14nm chipset and an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 625. However, some rumors claim that the phablet may feature a Snapdragon 630 or 660 chipset. It may feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. The smartphone will be running on Android Nougat that will be skinned with MIUI 9.
The Mi Mix 3 will be fueled by Quick Charge 3.0 enabled 5,500mAh battery. The leakster has stated that it will be available in two models 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The base model is expected to carry a price tag of 1,699 Yuan (~$265).
