On June 16, Xiaomi held an event in China to strengthen the scientific management of data asset awareness. Among other events, people were seen posting stickers that carried the names of different Xiaomi devices. Stickers for Mi MIX 10 and MIUI 15 were also spotted indicating that these could be the names of the upcoming Xiaomi products.
In February 2019, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3S 5G smartphone. The Mi MIX 4 or Mi MIX 5 was expected to debut in the second half of 2019, but the company unveiled Mi MIX Alpha concept phone with wraparound display. Rumors have been claiming that the Mi MIX 4 will break cover this year in September or October. However, the names that have appeared on the stickers reveal that Xiaomi will be announcing the MI MIX 10 as its next Mi MIX series phone. Also, it may come loaded with the latest MIUI 15.
Xiaomi recently introduced MIUI 12 and is working on making it available on its devices in China and global markets. However, an improved version of the MIUI with MIUI 15 could be coming with Mi MIX 10.
Xiaomi may have decided to go with Mi MIX 10 since the company is celebrating the tenth anniversary of Xiaomi. Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones. Hence, it appears that the next MIX series phone could be called Mi MIX 10.
There is no word on the specs of the Mi MIX 10 smartphone yet. There is a possibility that it could be driven by the rumored Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform.
